Happy National Flag Day to all the Ukrainians!

• On 23rd of August Ukraine celebrates the National Flag Day. The flag of Ukraine is a simple design consisting of two equal bands of blue and yellow. The two colors have been used on the national flag of Ukraine since 1848 and were officially adopted for the nation’s flag back in 1918. Although it was forbidden during the Soviet times - the flag became a national symbol after Ukraine became an independent country in 1991. 
• The blue half represents peace, the sky above Ukraine and the country's streams and the yellow represents prosperity and the color of the country's wheat fields.
• Let's celebrate our symbol of national identity together. Let our flag proudly wave and inspire all of us for new victories!
